Anjum Khurshid, MD, PhD is a recognized leader in population health informatics and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Population Medicine. He is the Chief Data Scientist for the Sentinel Operations Center and Founding Director of the Center for AI and Biomedical Informatics (CAB) at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. His research focuses on real-world informatics solutions to support learning health systems by integrating clinical, social determinants of health, and personalized data using standards and new technologies. He received the Health Informatics Innovator Award for setting up a health information exchange in New Orleans and the Visionary Award, 2021 for his research in blockchain technology.
