Gulf Cancer Awareness Week

Gulf Cancer Awareness Week is held annually from 1 to 7 February, aiming to create and implement cancer support and awareness programs to alleviate the disease's symptoms, and work towards its eradication. This significant event was launched by the Gulf Health Council, with the hope of increasing awareness about the importance of early cancer detectioى to enhance the chances of recovery.

Objectives of Gulf Cancer Awareness Week
  • Oversee the development of regional cancer prevention plans.
  • Promote early detection of cancer and provide appropriate treatment.
  • Educate the community and raise public awareness for cancer prevention and control.
