The Emirates Health Services (EHS) celebrated Flag Day, which is observed on the third of November each year. The celebrations were attended by executive leaders, department managers, and employees from various sectors and extended to all EHS health facilities across the nation in a patriotic atmosphere that embodied the highest meanings of national belonging and loyalty.

A flag-raising ceremony was held at the EHS headquarters in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, at exactly 11:00 AM, accompanied by the playing of the national anthem. This was an expression of pride in the Emirati identity and solidarity around the flag of the Union, which symbolizes unity and shared ambitions for a more prosperous and sustainable future.

On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Serkal, Director-General of Emirates Health Services, stated: "Flag Day embodies the highest meanings of unity, loyalty, and belonging. It symbolizes the journey of a nation whose foundations of glory were laid by the founding fathers, and which now marches with confident strides towards the future under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, 'may God protect him'."

He added: "On this cherished national occasion, we affirm our pride and honor in the flag of the Union, which unites the people of the nation under its shadow and expresses the aspirations of the UAE and its people for leadership, excellence, and sustainable development. We reiterate our commitment to continuing the development of the healthcare system and embodying the vision of our wise leadership in building a pioneering Emirati model for quality of life. This model reinforces the central role of people in development and anticipates a more prosperous and sustainable future for the nation and its coming generations."
