Emirates Health Services Board of Directors Holds Third Meeting of 2025

The Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services (EHS) held its third meeting of 2025, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Chairman of the Board, and attended by His Excellency Dr. Yousif Mohamed AlSerkal, Director-General of EHS, alongside board members. The meeting took place at the EHS headquarters in Dubai to discuss strategic agenda items aimed at continuing to enhance institutional performance quality and ensure the sustainability of healthcare services across the UAE.

Key discussions included a review of EHS’s financial performance for the first quarter of 2025. The Director of the Finance and Budget Department delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting key financial indicators and operational outcomes, confirming stable performance levels that reflect effective financial and administrative planning.

The Board also examined recommendations from the Audit and Risk Committee and the Development and Improvement Committee, exploring mechanisms to implement these recommendations within the operational framework. This aims to enhance process efficiency, mitigate institutional risks, and advance transformational projects and future development plans aligned with EHS’s priorities in the coming phase.

Through its regular meetings, the EHS Board of Directors reaffirms its commitment to overseeing the execution of strategic plans and ensuring effective governance. These efforts contribute to strengthening the federal healthcare sector’s efficiency and solidifying the UAE’s position in global health indicators, ultimately supporting the objectives of the “We the UAE 2031” Vision and the UAE Centennial 2071.
