In a remarkable achievement that underscores its excellence and leadership in government communication, Emirates Health Services (EHS), through its Communication and Marketing Department, has been awarded the MarCom Global Award in the "Strategic Communication - Communication Programs" category. This accolade celebrates EHS's exceptional efforts in developing and executing innovative strategic communication campaigns that bolster its presence both locally and internationally, while also elevating client and community satisfaction.

Rashid Al Ali, Director of the Communication and Marketing Department at EHS, expressed his pride in receiving this prestigious global award, which recognizes the department's dedication to delivering innovative communication solutions that directly enhance EHS's engagement with its diverse audience and support its strategic objectives. He emphasized that this achievement reflects the department’s commitment to implementing best practices in government communication and its pioneering role in providing interactive, meaningful content that strengthens EHS's standing in the healthcare sector, in alignment with the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025.

Kholoud Alobeidli, Head of Events and Strategic Communication at EHS, noted that this achievement is the result of relentless hard work and continuous innovation within the department’s communication and marketing initiatives. She stated, "Winning this global award underscores our dedication to fostering effective communication with our clients and community members while encouraging their engagement across various digital and media platforms, recognizing them as integral to our decision-making processes and service development."

The Communication and Marketing Department at EHS employs a comprehensive strategy that integrates modern technology and artificial intelligence to deliver messages interactively to all community members. Thanks to these initiatives, EHS has successfully executed over 3,000 community campaigns and initiatives across various health domains, achieving impressive engagement rates on social media. The department is committed to enhancing EHS's digital presence by offering multilingual services, with communication conducted in over 132 languages, including sign language, thereby increasing engagement across all community segments.

In its pursuit of effective and professional crisis management, the Communication and Marketing Department at EHS has implemented a comprehensive media plan focused on strategic communication during crises. This plan includes effective strategies to raise awareness and ensure accurate, rapid message dissemination across multiple platforms, thereby building trust and strengthening communication with the public. This success is largely due to the seamless integration of the communication team’s efforts and the use of modern technology in its operations.

Beyond achieving remarkable audience engagement, the department prioritizes internal communication with employees through leading programs, such as the "Weyakum" initiative, the virtual newsletter, the communication and marketing badge, and the "Communication Ambassadors" initiative—comprising 100 ambassadors across all sectors of EHS. These efforts aim to enhance coordination and integration among various divisions, supporting EHS's drive to improve efficiency and readiness for future challenges.

It is important to note that the MarCom Global Award is presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) in Dallas, USA, and is one of the most prestigious awards recognizing creativity and excellence in communication, with over 6,000 organizations and companies competing globally.
