Emirates Health Services (EHS) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls to strengthen collaboration towards achieving the two parties’ common goals and strategies, upskill students and EHS technical staff, and support joint efforts in lifelong medical education programmes.

The MoU aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific expertise between the two entities to support and develop scientific research, promote innovation, advance the education of employees in all pharmaceutical specializations, and provide training opportunities for female students. Other objectives include strengthening relations, building capacities, and raising the efficiency of EHS employees in the pharmaceutical sector.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Naqbi, Acting Executive Director of the Supportive Health Services Sector at EHS, and Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan, Dean of the Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls, with officials from both sides attending.

H.E. Al-Naqbi stressed the importance of cooperation between EHS and the College to promote medical education, reflecting Emirates Health Services' growing commitment to strengthening collaboration with various scientific institutions across the UAE, achieving common strategic goals, and providing top training services and professional development opportunities for employees. "The new partnership also sets the stage for training a generation of academically and professionally empowered pharmacists capable of advancing innovation and scientific research and contributing effectively to developing professional programs," Dr. Al-Naqbi added.

As per the MoU, Emirates Health Services will provide training opportunities for students from the Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls in its affiliated facilities, which contributes to achieving the two entities’ common goal to meet the highest scientific standards in training.

EHS has been expanding the scope of its strategic partnerships by signing a series of collaboration agreements and MoUs with health and scientific bodies and institutions at the local, regional, and international levels to facilitate the exchange of experiences and achieve its objectives to develop the healthcare sector.
