Emirates Health Services held a commemorative event at its Dubai Silicon Oasis Headquarters in honor of Emirates Medical Day, celebrated annually on the 9th of May. The event aimed to showcase exceptional medical achievements and recognize the dedication of medical and nursing teams.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Financial and Support Services Sector, and H.E. Mubaraka Ibrahim, Acting Executive Director of the Information Sector. Additionally, numerous healthcare professionals attended the ceremony including doctors and nurses from the EHS’ healthcare facilities.
On this occasion, H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni emphasized that Emirates Medical Day, held this year under the theme 'Emirates Appreciate You,' is an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts, sacrifices, and dedication that healthcare professionals demonstrate daily to safeguard the health and safety of our citizens and residents. He expressed pride in their achievements in the field of medicine and healthcare, pledging continued full support for the development of this crucial sector.
H.E. highlighted the importance of acknowledging the substantial humanitarian contributions of the medical and nursing teams in safeguarding community health and showcasing their remarkable achievements. This recognition aligns with honoring these professionals who work in harmony with national goals to enhance health quality. They serve as a fundamental pillar in ”We the UAE 2031” vision and are closely intertwined with the spirit and aspirations of the UAE Centennial. With their pivotal role in realizing this vision and their unwavering dedication, medical personnel significantly bolster the competitiveness of the healthcare sector.
At the outset of the event, an impactful video presentation highlighted the remarkable and qualitative medical accomplishments achieved by the medical teams. Furthermore, doctors shared their experiences and medical journeys at Emirates Health Services through insightful speeches delivered during the event.
EHS wrapped up its celebratory event by awarding the winners of the "Emirates Medical Day" competition and acknowledging the medical teams who took part. Their commitment and outstanding service in delivering high-quality healthcare were praised, underscoring their significant role in advancing EHS’ mission of offering exemplary and holistic healthcare services to the community.
