The Emirates Health Services (EHS) successfully concluded the two-day “EHS AI Summit”, held under the theme “Accelerating AI Adoption in the Healthcare Sector”, as part of the inaugural WHX Tech 2025.

The summit witnessed significant participation from global leaders, experts, and decision-makers, and was attended by H.E. Dr. Yousif Mohamed AlSerkal, Director-General of EHS. Dr. Al-Serkal also visited several regional and international exhibitor pavilions to explore cutting-edge innovations in digital health and AI-driven healthcare solutions.

Her Excellency Mubaraka Ibrahim, Acting Executive Director of the Information Sector and Chief AI Officer at EHS, emphasized the summit’s role as a strategic platform to transform AI from a futuristic concept into a tangible force reshaping healthcare. She stated: “At EHS, we are leveraging AI to predict risks before they materialize, enhance proactive responses, and uphold the highest standards of safety and reliability.”

Sessions at the summit addressed critical themes, including global trends in AI governance, predictive analytics, sustainable health systems, and strategies to preserve human-centric care in an era of advanced technology. Discussions also focused on designing innovative models for safer, more efficient healthcare delivery.

EHS also showcased its pioneering AI-driven projects at a dedicated exhibition platform. Concurrently, the summit brought together leading global minds, reinforcing EHS’s vision to transition healthcare from a diagnosis-and-treatment model to a prediction-and-prevention paradigm.

EHS’s strategy revolves around three core pillars: integrating AI across healthcare and community health systems, empowering national talent to spearhead AI-driven transformation, and advancing secure, reliable infrastructure to cement the UAE’s status as a global leader in digital health and medical innovation, fully aligned with the objectives of the UAE’s Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 and the UAE Centennial Plan 2071.
