As part of its ongoing efforts to attract students and enhance national competencies in the healthcare field, Emirates Health Services (EHS) is participating in the 19th edition of the International Education Show 2023, which is taking place in Sharjah from October 18 to 21. EHS will showcase its "Masaar" and "Bachelor of Nursing" programs, through which it supports high school students by providing exceptional, motivational, and supportive educational care. This contributes to supplying the healthcare sector in the country with a highly skilled pool of national professionals, particularly in the fields of medicine, nursing, and other healthcare specialties.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Financial Sector and Support Services at Emirates Health Services (EHS), emphasized the importance of the International Education Show as a significant platform that EHS pays special attention to due to its role in attracting high school students who are in the process of choosing their future educational specializations. The exhibition provides an opportunity for EHS to showcase its educational programs in the medical field, including the "Bachelor of Nursing" and "Masaar" programs. These initiatives aim to encourage and support students throughout their university education.

Additionally, Al Zarooni stated that the programs offered by EHS contribute to enhancing the healthcare workforce with the suitable necessary skills and competencies to meet the needs of the community. They are also an influential component of EHS’ Emiratisation plans, as they offer students various advantages, including free educational scholarships, financial rewards, and employment support in EHS facilities upon graduation. He further emphasized that their strategy aims to expand the scope of attracting national talents through targeted educational programs and qualitative initiatives.

The Scholarship Programs

The scholarship programs offered by EHS, such as the "Bachelor of Nursing" and "Masaar Program Scholarship," target citizen students who have graduated from high school. The eligibility criteria include obtaining a high school diploma or its equivalent with a minimum grade of 80% or a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, provided that no more than three years have passed since obtaining the high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, the scholarship requires acceptance into universities or colleges in the country to study medicine, nursing, or other healthcare specialties.

Emirates Health Services covers the tuition fees and provides a financial reward to support and encourage students. Applications for scholarships can be submitted through the digital portal of Emirates Health Services under the Training and Development Center services.
