Emirates Health Services signs Government Services Quality Charter

As part of its contribution towards enhancing the quality of government services in the UAE, Emirates Health Services (EHS) signed the UAE Government Services Quality Charter. This is a strategic step designed to advance the UAE’s position as a leading global healthcare destination, provide top-quality healthcare that aligns with international best practices for all citizens and residents in the country, and further develop and improve healthcare services.

The agreement was signed at EHS’ headquarters by H.E. Dr. Yousif Mohammed Alserkal, Director-General of EHS, and other key executive directors of EHS, namely, H.E. Dr. Essam Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of Clinical Services, H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Financial Sector and Support Services, and H.E. Mubaraka Ibrahim, Acting Chief Information Officer of the Information Sector.

H.E. Dr. Alserkal stated that signing the Government Services Quality Charter aligns with the UAE’s strategic direction concerning government services for the period of 2021-2025. H.E. added that it reflects EHS’ strong commitment to enhancing the quality of government services in the healthcare field. EHS will continue working diligently to implement the principles of the charter, elevate healthcare services in the UAE to advanced levels of efficiency and quality, and fulfill our strategic goals to enhance the regional and global competitiveness of our healthcare sector.

H.E. Dr. Alserkal went on to note that signing the charter marks a notable step forward in the journey to upgrade government services in the UAE and drive a significant leap in the healthcare sector to ensure advanced levels of quality and efficiency.

H.E. asserted that EHS will lead substantial efforts to further develop and enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services, and strengthen the capabilities of professionals and human capital across all healthcare facilities under its umbrella.

Under the terms of the charter, Emirates Health Services commits to implementing the principles of the Government Services Development Guide 2.0, using them as the primary reference in designing, delivering, developing, and improving the quality and performance of government services, which, in turn, serves to increase customer satisfaction.
