Emirates Health Services (EHS) celebrates a new accomplishment after winning the Excellence Award for Smart Government 2022 for Digital Government Content, announced by the International Excellence Foundation, which works to advance e-government and smart government websites from its base in Florida, USA.
The win was announced at an awards ceremony held on Wednesday June 29 at Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai. EHS was awarded in recognition of its outstanding digital content, designed and developed by local talents on its team, which met all international standards for e-government and smart government websites, as well as all requirements and criteria for the award.
The award criteria include proactiveness, speed, and transparency in the dissemination of news and information; the ability to predict and respond to the needs of the public; diversity and flexibility by adapting to emerging technologies, as well as local and international developments; rapid response to emergencies and crises, and finally, aligning with the digital age to enhance competitiveness.
Rashid Al Ali, Director of the Communication and Marketing Department at EHS, said “This win for Emirates Health Services is the result of the tremendous efforts we have to drive development and achieve commendable results that live up to EHS’ mission. We multiplied our efforts and built on our successes to reach unprecedented levels of innovation in digital content, designing novel and flexible procedures to enhance the digital side of the healthcare sector, and enhance the competitiveness, originality, and quality of e-services and smart services.
For her part, Alanoud Al-Haddad, Head of the Electronic Communication Department at EHS, asserted that Emirates Health Services is leading great efforts to invest in its staff, in line with its strategy to empowering its human capital, enhance communication via electronic and digital channels, and promote innovation and health-related research to establish a smart healthcare system, ensure customer satisfaction, and enhance service quality.
The Award is a continuation of a series of accomplishments EHS has recorded recently, where in May, it was presented with the Grand Stevie Award for 2022, in addition to 28 other awards at this year’s Stevies competition in the health innovation categories. This brings the total number of Stevie awards EHS has won to 40, and the overall total number of global awards to 61.
The Smart Government Awards aims to enhance e-government and smart government websites and social media platforms; encourage creativity in designing these websites, pages, and smart applications for Arab governments, and honour the best pages designed in accordance with international standards for smart and e-government sites. It also aims to discover and promote innovation and empower creative minds in the field of smart and e-government.
