We would like to inform you that the schedule for healthy children's vaccinations at Wadi Al Helo Health Center will be changed starting from August 1, 2025. Vaccinations will be available every Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 AM to 02:30 PM.

Fujairah Hospital Celebrates World Organ Donation Day

In conjunction with World Organ Donation Day, Fujairah Hospital, an Emirates Health Services (EHS) facility, organized an event to celebrate the occasion in collaboration with the National Program for Donation and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissue "Hayat." The event was attended by a distinguished group of doctors, specialists, and experts, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and highlight its role in saving lives.

H.E. Dr. Essam Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Clinical Services Sector at Emirates Health Services, emphasized the pioneering role that the UAE plays in this vital field, which is crucial for saving the lives of patients with organ failure. He underscored the importance of joint efforts among related entities to ensure the success of the "Hayat" National Program for Donation and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissue. Dr. Al Zarooni also highlighted EHS’ ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration among all concerned entities to ensure the best health outcomes for patients and to improve the quality of life, health, and safety of the community.

Dr. Ahmed Al Khadeim, Director of Fujairah Hospital, explained that the event reflects the hospital's commitment to raising community awareness about the importance of organ donation in saving the lives of patients in need of organ transplants. He stated that the event serves as a unique platform for learning, networking, and collaboration through a series of lectures and discussions that cover all aspects of organ donation, including its humanitarian side. The event also showcased the latest developments, research, and technologies used in the field of organ donation, affirming the importance of continued collective efforts to spread awareness and encourage organ donation to save more lives.

The event featured speeches from ambassadors of the "Hayat" Program, who are organ recipients sharing their personal experiences and inspiring stories about organ donation. Additionally, a range of topics were discussed, including an introduction to the "Hayat" Program, the "Federal Law on Organ Donation," and the Islamic perspective on organ donation.
