His Excellency Dr. Yousif Mohammed Al Serkal, Director-General of Emirates Health Services (EHS), mourned the passing of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, on Friday, who leaves an immortal legacy in the collective memory of the Emirati people. “May his soul rest in eternal peace and may the Almighty grant our wise leadership patience and solace in this difficult time,” he said, offering his deepest condolences to their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates, their Crown Princes, and to the Emirati people and residents of the UAE.
“Today, we bid farewell to a wise leader who walked in the footsteps and legacy of our Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and who committed his reign to fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of his people, with the support of his countrymen and women,” Dr Al-Serkal continued. “As we bid farewell with grieving hearts , we also remember his remarkable and historic accomplishments, which will remain forever in the minds of the Emirati people and all residents living on our country, who will always celebrate a leader who enriched the history of his nation.”
