In a statement on World Doctors’ Day, His Excellency Dr. Yousif Mohammed Al-Serkal, Director-General of Emirates Health Services (EHS), said: “I congratulate all doctors on this occasion, as well as all medical professionals across Emirates Health Services’ network of hospitals and primary healthcare centres around the UAE. Our country is now moving closer towards full recovery thanks to their efforts and sacrifices; they are our first line of defence, protecting people’s health in times of prosperity and crises, they were the key in our efforts to handle the COVID-19 pandemic, and today, they are at the forefront of recovery efforts and indispensable in ensuring the health and wellbeing of the community.”
