Sheikha Noura bint Hamid Al Qasimi, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at Emirates Health Services (EHS), emphasized that Emirati Women’s Day, held this year under the theme ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better’, reflects the prominent role of Emirati women as key partners in the nation’s development and in shaping its future.

This celebration reflects the leadership’s vision of empowering women and investing in their capabilities as a long-term national priority, enabling them to expand their contributions and achieve a meaningful presence across all sectors and fields.

She said: “The theme ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better’ marks a new phase in the journey of Emirati women. This phase is built on past achievements, showcasing their talents and skills while continuing to develop them, so they remain well-prepared and influential in addressing the challenges ahead. Today, the achievements of Emirati women are measured not simply by the extent of their participation, but by the quality of their impact, the value they add, and their role in driving progress and innovation.”

She noted that the healthcare sector is a leading example of this presence, with Emirati women playing critical roles across medical, health, administrative, and specialised fields. They contribute to improving the quality of healthcare, adopting innovation and advanced technologies, and strengthening the efficiency and sustainability of services. She emphasized that EHS is home to distinguished national female professionals who have successfully transformed their ambition, knowledge, and expertise into tangible achievements that benefit the well-being of the community.

She emphasized that celebrating Emirati Women’s Day provides an opportunity to look ahead with greater ambition, continuing to invest in developing national female talent, advancing their future skills, and expanding their participation in innovation, research and development, and advanced healthcare technologies. These efforts reinforce women’s roles in building a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system and translate the theme ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better’ into a lasting impact aligned with the UAE’s aspirations for the future.
