The hospital was opened in 1986 at the city of Dibba in the Emirate of Fujairah, offering healthcare services to the residents of Dibba and the surrounding areas.​ ​ Obtained international health accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI) In 2022​ Participated as a representative of the Emirates Health Services organization in the International Hospital Federation's Young Executive Leaders program in 2022 ​
