Modification of Birth Certificate Details

This service allows customers to change or modify the details on a birth certificate and to request the issue of a revised original birth certificate.

Service Process

    Visit the same Public Health center from which the original birth certificate was issued, with the required documents

  • 2

    Submit a request to amend the information on the birth certificate

  • 3

    Once the documents and original copies are verified, the birth certificate will be issued

  • 4

    the certificate should be collected by the father or his representative

Submission of all original documents

If the name change requested is that of a newborn national already registered in the family book, a letter of No Objection issued by the Federa Authority for Government Human Resources of Nationality and addressed to the Public Health Department is required

If the name change requested is that of a newborn expatriate, the following will be required:

  1. Letter of No Objection from the consulate of the country to which the newborn belongs, stating the change in the newborn's name

  2. Original certificate issued by the Public Health Department

  3. Request should be made at the same Public Health center from which the original birth certificate was issued
