World Autism Awareness Day

World Autism Awareness Day is celebrated on 2 April every year to raise awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and to promote understanding and support for individuals affected by it. The purpose of this day is to highlight the challenges faced by people with autism and their families and to foster efforts for inclusion within society through education and awareness.

Goals:
  • Spread knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorder, its symptoms, and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Support individuals with autism in the community and improve the quality of educational and training programs and services provided to them.
  • Encourage and support scientific research to better understand autism and develop effective treatment strategies.
