This service allows UAE Citizen students to join scholarship programs to study bachelor degrees in accredited universities and colleges within UAE in accordance with the objectives of the EHS to improve the level of medical practitioners and encourage national students to engage in this field through Masar program and Bachelor of Nursing grants

Conditions & Requirements

Masar scholarship:

Scholarships are given to study subjects related to the EHS work and activities. Subjects and universities are determined by Masar Program Committee.

  • Masar Scholarship is provided to universities/colleges within the UAE only.
  • EHS will cover the tuition fees for the duration of the study for the selected private universities.
  • The student is entitled, during the term of the contract, to a monthly salary of 4000 dirhams.
  • Upon graduation, EHS is obligated to hire the student for a period equals the period of study mentioned in the contract.

  1. Terms of Masar Scholarship:

    • The applicant must be a UAE national (local) (holder of a valid UAE passport & family book).
    • The applicant must be of good conduct.
    • The applicant must have a high school certificate or its equivalent with a grade of no less than 75% or a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.
    • The high school diploma or its equivalent should be no more than three years old.
    • Obtaining initial acceptance from one of the selected universities and specializations within the country.
    • The applicant must obtain an EmSAT certificate according to selected university criteria.
    • Fulfilling the university/college requirements, including an English language proficiency certificate.
    • The applicant must not be employed or have more than one scholarship.
    • The applicant must not have been dismissed from any school for disciplinary reasons or because of his irregularity in attending lessons.
    • The applicant must not have been dismissed for disciplinary reasons from any government agency.
    • Completion or exemption from national military service (for males only).

Nursing scholarship:

UAE Citizen students holding a high school certificate are eligible to study Bachelor of Nursing in chosen universities and colleges within the country.

  • EHS bears the tuition fees (including textbooks, if any) for the duration of the study for the selected private universities.
  • The student is entitled, during the term of the contract, an incentive of 25000 AED after each term (exclude Summer term) if achieved a CGPA 3 and above.
  • Upon graduation, EHS is obligated to hire the student for a period equals the period of study mentioned in the contract.

  1. Terms of Nursing Scholarship:

    • The applicant must be a UAE Citizen (holder of a valid UAE passport & family book)
    • The applicant must obtain a high school average or its equivalent as follows, provided that it has not been more than 3 years old:
      • Elite stream 70%
      • Advanced stream: 75%
      • General stream: 80%
    • In case of commencing studies, the cumulative GPA must not be less than 2.5
  2. Obtaining initial acceptance from one of the selected universities and specializations within the country.
  3. The applicant must obtain an EmSAT certificate according to selected university criteria.
  4. Fulfilling the university/college requirements, including an English language proficiency certificate.
  5. The applicant must not be employed or have more than one scholarship.
  6. The applicant must not have been dismissed for disciplinary reasons from any government agency.
  7. Completion or exemption from national military service (for males only).

Scholarship applications are received annually after high school results, and registration often opens in July for 1 Month.

Required Documents

  1. Masar scholarship:

    • Copy of attested high school certificate, In case of a curriculum other than the Ministry of Education, equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education must be sent.
    • Initial Acceptance letter from the university/college specifying the name of the program, duration of study, and tuition fees, if any. (Ensure that the university and the studied subject are among the required list for Masar program).
    • In case of commencing of university studies, the transcript must be provided with a cumulative GPA not less than 3.
    • Criminal status certificate.
    • EmSAT certificate according to the university criteria.
    • English language certificate IELTS or TOEFL, according to university requirements or exemption letter from the university for this requirement.
    • CV.
    • Acquaintance card.
    • Copy of valid passport and unified number.
    • Family book.
    • Copy of valid Emirates ID card (both sides).
    • Copy of birth certificate.
    • Certificate of completion or exemption from national military service – Males only.
    • Personal photo.

  2. Nursing Scholarship:

    • Copy of attested high school certificate, In the case of a curriculum other than the Ministry of Education, equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education must be sent.

    • Copy of valid passport and unified number.
    • Family book.
    • Copy of valid Emirates ID card (both sides).
