Request for Provision of Blood Units and Components

The service is designed to support hospitals and one-day surgery centers by delivering vital units of blood and its essential components, such as platelets and plasma, to fulfill a wide range of medical needs.

Conditions & Requirements

A signed contract between EHS and the receiving hospital or one-day surgery center is required for the provision of blood

Blood units and blood components are free for public sector hospitals

Irradiation of blood units and components using approved techniques: AED50 plus the initial fees before irradiation
